Plastic cosmetic bottles come in a variety of materials (resins). Plastic cosmetic bottles produced from HDPE are the most common and least expensive. It's economical, impact resistant and provides a good moisture barrier. Plastic cosmetic bottles produced from PET are crystal clear. They are good for alcohol and essential oil barrier properties and have good chemical resistance. Good for usage where if the bottle is dropped it will not shatter.
