The information is divided into four major sections. Part I, Trade Name Reference, contains alphabetical entries for each
ingredient. Each entry includes manufacturer, chemical composition, associated CAS and EINECS identifying numbers,
general properties, applications and functions, toxicology, and regulatory information. Part II, Trade Name Functional Cross
Reference, groups the trade name chemicals by 44 broad functional areas. Part III, Chemical Component Cross Reference,
contains an alphabetical listing of cosmetic and personal care chemical compounds, along with the trade name products that
are equivalent to the chemical compound. Part IV, Manufacturers Directory, contains contact information for the
manufacturers of the referenced products. The Handbook is also available in electronic formats for the PC, and a
demonstration disk is included.
